This space acts as storage for private messages. It allows communication between members of the Sudoku Village. As a member, you can send as well as receive messages. Furthermore, you can also store messages in separate folders for future reference. E.g., you can name a folder 'Sudoku Freaks'.
A Club is a place where people with common interests interact. Thinking of establishing a new club in your area? Sudoku Village, now gives you a platform to create and run your own clubs. For example, if you live in Phoenix and want to get acquainted with Sudoku Enthusiasts in your locality, you can create a brand new club, and probably name it the Phoenix Freaks. Clubs can revolve around any area of interest - games, food, hobbies, or whatever. General Guidelines Let me list the guidelines of Club membership. We'll keep updating them as and when required. Understanding these will ensure all of us stay on the same page. 1. Avoid posting links directing members to web pages outside SudokuVillage.com. 2. Don't make any postings that are not relevant to the context. 3. Don't post others' writings, except where absolutely necessary. If and when you do so, please acknowledge the source of the material posted. 4. Refer any problems (or potential ones) to me. 5. If any posting ever gets removed (we'll avoid doing it as far as possible), it would be with valid reasons. Don't take it personally. 6. Avoid inflammatory postings. 7. Starting and Joining Clubs implies that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions. 8. All postings are the views and responsibilities of the persons who post them. Neither Sudoku Village nor the Club Leaders are legally liable for anyone else's content. Create Clubs Here's your chance to create and run your own club! Sudoku Village gives You a platform to create your own clubs. What's more, you can create as many clubs as you wish! These clubs can be run under the supervision of our administrator. A few words before you Create a Club in an area of your interest/ expertise. You could name your Club appropriately. The name of your Club need not include any of the above topic names or phrases. The name of your Club can be anything. Just make it appropriate, catchy, pithy, interesting and enticing. Avoid any name that may trigger a controversy. Starting a Club is easy, but running it is more difficult. You need to be committed to it, and be willing to spend time. Daily! You need to get involved. And yet permit others to have their say, rather than dominate. You need to keep making postings regularly, raising questions, seeking the views of the Members of the Club. The questions you raise may give it just the direction it needs. Include Members of your Club as part of your own Network, You will emerge a true leader, championing a Sudoku cause. Other Sudoku buffs/ experts look up to you now as you lead the Community to greater heights. Your Club could be the beacon that solves the problems of Sudoku enthusiasts. Or one that entertains them. Or one for a tête-à-tête. What your Club achieves depends on you. My Clubs On clicking, this option gives a member a list of all the Clubs she/ he has joined. If the member has not joined any Club, the message ‘No Clubs Found' appears onscreen. Join a club This gives a list of all the Clubs created till date. Members can click on 'Join' to Subscribe to the desired Club(s). View all Clubs All members can view the list of Clubs along with the name of the person who owns the Club. Club names appear under four Categories. 1. Sudoku Beginner 2. Sudoku Expert 3. Location Wise 4. General Select by Category This option is open to everyone. Users can select by category and click ‘Submit' after logging in. This gives them a list of Clubs/ Blogs present in the category they have chosen. Blog World The term Blog is a shortened form of Weblog. Authoring a Blog, maintaining a Blog or adding an article to an existing Blog is called Blogging. Individual articles on a Blog are called Entries, Posts or Blog Posts. Any person who posts these entries is called a Blogger. Blogs often focus on a particular area of interest, such as Sudoku. However in Sudoku Village.com, you can enter Blogs of any topic and even discuss personal experiences! You can post your entries on a regular basis. Latest Blogs will appear at the top of the list. Create Your Blog Your blog can include any info of your interest. It can be your own idea or someone else's; it can also be an extract that has been published and shared with others on the net. As a member, this is the chance to publish your work instantly and communicate with the Sudoku Community.

Blog World Post Office All members can view the blogs posted so far, provided they login! Message Board Posts can be anything to do with Blogs, Forums or Clubs. All recent postings to the website will be displayed here The type of post, i.e. blog, forum, or club will be displayed along with the author's name, time of post, and the number of replies made to the posts. Log Out Clicking on this will help you log out of the site. After successful logout, the homepage will be displayed. Who's New? This feature automatically displays new users who have signed up with Sudoku Village. Clicking on the links will display the member profile. Who's Online? This shows the number of users and guests who are online. Again, clicking on the link shows you their member profile. Guestbook Guestbook is a place where you can add your comments about Sudoku Village or any of its members. Every member has a Guestbook, and the Sudoku Village site has one too! If you want to voice your views about a member or on Sudoku Village itself, go to the respective Guestbook, and write your comments. Please don't be too quick to criticize, or to flatter. New Forum Topics This link will give you a brief view of the new forum topics posted on the site. On clicking ‘more', you can see all the forum topics that are open for discussion. The new topics will replace the older ones at the top of the list. Puzzle Archive This is a search facility which gives you access to the puzzles which have been posted previously on this site. You are required to fill in the dates in MM/DD/YY format, or you can even click on the scroll arrow to the left of the space provided. This gives you a pop-up calendar, where you just click on the date. Insure that you fill in the dates in both the ‘From', and ‘To' boxes. After you click on ‘Submit', you will be given a list of the dates and the puzzle for that date. On clicking the link, you can view the old puzzle. Its solution will be given right below the puzzle.
