Hi,
If you’ve discovered the incredible challenge, fun, and stimulation that only playing the game of Sudoku puzzles brings… if you’re amazed at how the hours freely fly by unnoticed when you play a hard Sudoku game, how uplifting and satisfying it feels to suddenly see the numbers “falling into place”, … if you know what I mean when I talk about “Sudoku World” — that magical place where you just know everything will be OK if you can just solve one more puzzle, even if it’s easy… then you’ll be thrilled you landed on this Free Sudoku Tips page.
Why do people play Sudoku? The most common reasons given are:
“Sudoku Play is a great way to start the day”.
“When I play a hard Sudoku game well, it boosts my self esteem; makes me confident about my mental abilities”.
“Solving even easy puzzles helps me keep my faculties sharp, particularly as I’m grow older”.
“It is one of the best pastime games; I play it to relax when I’m tensed, at home/ office”.
“It comes up for discussion in social circles; I don’t want to look like a dumb ass, when everyone else talks freely about it”.
I put together the pages of Free Sudoku Tips you’re viewing to help you, regardless of how good you’re at Sudoku, whether you can solve even hard puzzles or just easy ones, at Sudoku play. These free tips are extracts from the 3 eBooks (Sudoku Magic Pack) published by Geostar Publishing, reproduced here with permission. To have full access to Sudoku Magic Pack that includes these 3 original eBooks, that go beyond these free tips, please click here. These 3 Books, together, will help you become a complete Sudoku gamer, in all respects.
If you’re satisfied with tips to solve Sudoku puzzles, please feel free to read all my posts, one after the other, starting from the bottom-most, moving up. Though these tips cannot dwell in as much detail as these eBooks do (together, these eBooks run to 600+ pages, mostly comprising of exercises and worked-out examples), these tips are certainly good enough to get you started freely to play this game decently well, solving easy and hard puzzles alike.
You’ll find free tips on BOTH THE 2 basic approaches here. Printed books and web pages on ‘how to solve’ mostly dwell on only one approach - the Conventional Approach to this game. They don’t even mention about another interesting approach, called the “Possibility Matrix Method“. The Possibility Matrix Method has its own relative advantages and disadvantages. The main advantage of the Possibility Matrix Method is its simplicity, and hence the fact that everyone can learn to play this game, and solve easy as well as very hard puzzles, relatively comfortably.
From my tips, you’ll learn to play Sudoku game,… I guarantee. You will learn how to solve all the puzzles, easy or hard,… where to start each game,… how to completely solve every puzzle,… what to do when you’re stuck at a hard game,…and more.
This is quite a lot, as you’ll soon see. But, I reserve the ‘even better part’ for a later posting.
Await my next few posting to learn to solve Sudoku by the TWO methods.

Hi,
As I’d promised, let me elaborate a few are of the free Speed Sudoku tips on “How To Play Sudoku Game & Solve Puzzles Easy/ Hard, faster, here.
- There are specific patterns that occur in Suduko puzzles. If we learn them well and can spot them the moment we see them, we’ll be able to solve them almost instantly, and this will increase our Suduko solving speed significantly.
- Interestingly, even beginners can learn to solve most puzzles faster than expert not-very-fast solvers. This is because speed of solving has little to do with the more difficult techniques.
- If we could quickly grasp the most frequent occurrence of the values in the filled cells, and solve for those values first, we could solve them faster.
- We normally tend to move our eyeballs lazily. If we learn to shift our eyeballs rapidly, (like speed readers do), our speed will increase.
- We have the tendency to keep backtracking to check if we did the last step right. If we learn to solve them right the first time, and avoid backtracking, again we’d have increased our Suduko solving speed a lot.
This eBook titled, ”How To Double Your Sudoku Speed”, is available for you to buy here . This is also part of Sudoku Magic Pack published by Geostar Publishing. Though this eBook runs to almost 400 pages, about 300 of these pages have simple, yet powerful exercises, and so this eBook is eminently and easily readable.
This eBook also makes it possible for you to verify your improvement in Sudoku solving speed. There are 4 sets of Sudoku puzzles of Easy, Moderate and Difficult levels at the start of the book, midway through the book, and at the end of the eBook, and one to be solved 3 months after completing the eBook. And all the 4 sets of puzzles are of an identical level of difficulty (scientifically proved to be so). By solving these puzzles at the designated time-periods, every reader can verify the actual improvement in Sudoku solving speed she/ he has accomplished.
This eBook should help you increase your Sudoku solving speed 2, 3, 5, 10 times, or even more, (depending on your current speed). The book also presents a 30-day time table to double your Sudoku solving speed. It also explains how you can learn to solve most Sudoku in around 5 minutes flat.
Yes, it comes with an unconditional 90-day guarantee. I suggest you buy it if you can afford. If you can’t afford, never mind, with some extra effort, you can still learn to solve Sudoku, with just my tips.

Hi,
Solving Sudoku is one thing, but solving them faster is a different ball game. More advanced techniques or more practice won’t help much. But with specific strategies and workouts, it is possible for most of the average Sudoku players to double (or even triple or multiple) their Sudoku solving speed, or even solve most Sudoku in 5 minutes!
There are thousands of Sudoku puzzle books available in the market. There are also quite a few on how to solve Sudoku. But there’s NONE on how to solve Sudoku faster. Solving more and more Sudokus every day may improve your Sudoku solving speed marginally, but it won’t help you improve your speed significantly.
Sudoku Village has done extensive research on this subject and identified 22 Laws that govern speedy solving of Sudoku. These law center around the following concepts:
In simple words, these 22 tips involve learning to:
• change the slow ways we use to solve them now, and start learning new ways of solving faster
• improve reflexes, with specific exercises
• comprehend the basic simplicity of the puzzles
• internalize the patterns that occur and learn how to tackle each through specific techniques
• prioritize the sequence of application of the techniques
• learn the techniques through the right methodologies so that we apply them quickly rather than fumble around
• move our eyeballs through the puzzles quickly, with plenty of exercises to master this skill
• kick the habit of double-checking, and start doing them right the first time
• use the frequency of occurrence of numbers in the puzzle to select the right cells to tackle first
• see the big picture in any given puzzle
• zip through the puzzle like a chain
• snap the chain when faced with diminishing returns
• develop a photographic memory to identify complex patterns, and learn to use previous experience to solve future puzzles
• use a methodical approach when appropriate
• use intuition when appropriate
• use intelligent guesswork when appropriate (note: this is NOT the same as guessing the values)
• use the Possibility Matrix approach when appropriate
• use the tie breaker when appropriate
• avoid interruptions while solving
• customize the laws to suit one’s own style and needs
• practice with plenty of exercises
• apply the ‘Golden Rule’.
Of these, a few are worth elaborating here. We’ll discuss them in my next posting.

Hi again,
We’ve already seen how to play Sudoku game, easy or hard. By both the methods, the Conventional and the Possibility Matrix Method. I had then promised you that I reserve the ‘better part’ of my free tips on how to play Sudoku game for a later posting. Things you can never learn anywhere else. AND, THIS IS IT!
The challenge, thrill and fun of solving Sudoku puzzles is NOT merely in solving the hard ones, but in solving them fast, whether they are easy or hard. From the World championship to local Contests are NOT conducted on the basis of how many hard puzzles the players solve correctly, but based on the time the players take to solve ALL the puzzles thrown at them, correctly. So, Sudoku is essentially a game of speedy play.
There are a few out there who brag that they can solve ALL the hard Sudoku puzzles, little realizing that this is no big deal. Very few talk about speedy solving of even easy ones.
Why? Because, people believe that speed comes with practice. Wrong. If this were so, the speedy players would be the ones who’ve been playing this game for years. Whereas there are a few youngsters, relatively new to the game, who freely and casually solve most of these puzzles, hard or easy, in 5 to 10 minutes.
The fact is that there has so far been no book or literature giving hints, tips, tricks and secrets, free or paid, to help solve Sudoku puzzles, easy and hard, fast. Search Google for “speed sudoku Method“, and you’ll find Sudoku Village’s “How To Double Your Sudoku Speed” eBook right on top. Feel free to go up and down the list, and you’ll find no other info, literature, tips, or eBook on speedy solving. All other links will take you to unrelated pages.
Now, for the first time, it is now possible for YOU to become a Sudoku Champ, by simply mastering the techniques (or tips) of Speedy Sudoku Play! Which only the few who have learnt from us at Sudoku Village know.
Armed with this skill acquired from my unique tips, you can play in Sudoku Contests, online or offline, and win Prizes, solving the easy and hard puzzles fast, with ease! (At Sudoku Village, we have also been conducting, for the last two years, a Daily Contest carrying a Cash Prize of $5, EVERY SINGLE DAY! Entry is Free. The Contest has very easy to very hard puzzles, and all other levels in between.)
Await my next set of tips, which are the best part of your learning - things you can never learn anywhere else.
