Sudoku Village conducts a free ‘Daily Sudoku Puzzle Contest’! Compete for Daily Cash Prize of $5. The Contest/ Competition is open to members with entry being Free. The daily competition has been going on successfully since April 18, 2006.
The puzzles in the ‘Daily Sudoku Puzzle Contest’ could be of any level of difficulty. Very Easy. Very Difficult. Or anything in between. All entries to the ‘Daily Sudoku Puzzle Contest’ must be solved online (not solved offline and copied onto the grid in the contest page; participants who cheat run the risk of having their entries ignored - the rules will tell you how). In brief, the OFFICIAL RULES of Sudoku Village ‘Daily Sudoku Puzzle Contest’ (the “Contest”/ “competition”) are:
The daily competition began April, 18 2006 and has been running everyday. The daily Competition and cash prizes are sponsored by Geostar Publishing & Services LLC. A new competition will be conducted each day (“Contest period”/ “competition period”). Entry is free.
The ‘Daily Sudoku Puzzle Contest’: It is a game of skill and involves the correct and speedy completion of a Sudoku puzzle online, open to members of SudokuVillage.com.
The ‘Daily Sudoku Puzzle Contest’ ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible, a participant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees, agents, and the family members of the Sponsor, are not eligible to enter.
The ‘Daily Sudoku Puzzle Contest’ PRIZE: The prize money of $5 will be deposited in the winner’s PayPal account. Subject to its own restrictions, getting a PayPal account is easy, and is free.
HOW TO WIN The ‘Daily Sudoku Puzzle Contest’: The daily competition period runs from 12:00 am EST and concluding at 11:59 pm EST that day. One who correctly solves the puzzle in the shortest REASONABLE elapsed time will be awarded the prize. You can win no more than once per week.
DISQUALIFICATIONS in the ‘Daily Sudoku Puzzle Contest’:
a) FOR USE OF AIDS: Solving of a puzzle in too short a time is an indication for that the member may have used automated aids to complete the puzzle and such participants may be disqualified. The minimum time may not be published as it could encourage cheating.
b) FOR OTHER REASONS: A contestant may only use one user id and one paypal id to be eligible for the prize. In case any contestant violates this rule, such a contestant may be disqualified even if his/ her name is the winner otherwise.
By participating in this Contest, you acknowledge that you have read these Rules, in full (not just the brief version) and agree to abide by the terms and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Contest.
